We often hear the question: 'How much does each person on my car insurance policy pay?' It seems straightforward, but the answer can actually be a bit more complex than you might think.

It's not as simple as just looking at the cost listed for each car on your insurance documents like the Declarations Page. That's because the total rate is influenced by two main things: the vehicle (its type and the coverage it has) AND the driver (their age, driving history, and marital status).

Insurance companies don't always directly link a specific vehicle to a specific driver when calculating costs. They often use their own formulas because, ultimately, any insured driver listed on the policy can drive any of the insured vehicles.

So, to figure out a fair breakdown of the cost per person, we use our experience and evaluation. If you'd like to have a breakdown for your policy, just let us know. We can create a table showing the estimated cost associated with each vehicle and each driver...with no extra charge. We would just need a couple of days to put it together for you.
