Our No Broker Fees FAQ

A broker fee is an extra charge that many independent insurance agencies/brokerages add on top of your insurance premium for their services. It's their charge for their services. At InVision Insurance Services, we don’t charge broker fees because we focus on building long-term relationships with clients who value solid coverage.
In California, broker fees can range anywhere from $50 to $250 or even more per transaction. By choosing InVision, you save that entire amount immediately. Over time, especially if you make policy changes or renewals, those agency savings add up to hundreds (and even thousands) of dollars compared to traditional brokers.
Our no-broker-fee promise doesn't have a catch. We are able to waive these fees because our business relies on client retention...we thrive when our customers stay with us for years. All we ask is that you help us maintain that relationship by keeping your policy active. If a change in your budget or situation ever impacts your ability to pay, just let us know so we can step in and help.
Yes. Many agencies charge high, upfront fees for the extra paperwork involved in filing an SR-22. At InVision Insurance Services, we process your electronic DMV SR-22 filings with absolutely no broker fees, helping you get back on the road legally and affordably without adding unnecessary financial stress to your situation. Note that insurance companies usually do charge a small fee to submit the SR-22 to the State.
The agency doesn't charge you a single dime out-of-pocket for our service, but insurance companies often have their own standard administrative costs like policy issuance, installment billing, or cancellation fees, and the state may add a fee themselves like a fraud fee on auto insurance. Luckily, these carrier and state fees are usually a whole lot less than traditional broker fees. To see exactly how your specific policy breaks down, just ask your agent or check the direct paperwork sent by your carrier.
