“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” - Plato
It goes without saying that music is a universal language and amazing art. Anyone can get lost in their music, that makes them feel something special or even brings back feelings or memories. So on that “note”, here are the InVision Team’s favorite songs.
RAFAEL (OWNER/AGENT): “My favorite song is Sound of Silence by Disturbed. It's a powerful gentle song with a hard rock feel, mixed with orchestra sounds and powerful high notes...and it reminds me of my little girl because she liked it too.”
CRISTINA (OWNER/AGENT): “My favorite songs have to be Confieso by Kany Garcia- it was my daughter Nati’s wake up song. I also like Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisley because my mom liked it and so did Nati. Finally, I like Home by Stephen Miller just because it brings me peace and it's beautiful.”
JULIE (CUSTOMER SERVICE): “Close to you by the Carpenters is my favorite song because it reminds me a lot of my dad and the type of person he was. I also like Orestes by A Perfect Circle because it reminds me a lot of my relationship with my sister.”
ROXANA (AGENT): “My favorite songs are Unwell by Matchbox 20, Nothing Compares to You by Chris Cornell, and Hotel California by The Eagles. They are amazing songs.”
MARIANA (CUSTOMER SERVICE): "One of my favorite songs has to be Hotel California by The Eagles…this was my introduction to different kinds of rock music at 13, I love 80s rock all thanks to my teacher who played it once while we were taking a test. I also like The River by Good Charlotte, a song based on living in LA. I also remember loving the lyrics since it showcased the willingness to change and grow even if it's hard. Finally, I like Papaouti by Stromae, which introduced me to more international songs and artists and made me realize that beat and rhythm are universal. Even though this song is about loss, it's portrayed beautifully."
ELIZABETH (CUSTOMER SERVICE / AGENT IN TRAINING): “Icarus by Artms and Butterfly by Loona are my favorite because they sound so ethereal with meaningful lyrics. These songs are in Korean but sound great and they awake a feeling of hope. Sugar Water by Cibo Matto, is another favorite song as the first time I heard it was on my favorite show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hearing this song playing within the scene was just mesmerizing.”
