When talking to customers about business insurance, I focus on the true impact of the coverage. For example, a customer recently asked if his sign-making equipment would be covered. I let him know that he did have that coverage and that this would help him serve his customers again as quickly as possible. In the end, these coverages can truly make an impact. A good example is a florist whose business was affected by a large fire. It was a difficult time for her but she was very grateful that her insurance not only covered all her equipment (i.e. refrigerators, signs, etc) and flower inventory but also paid her the money she lost while they were rebuilding her business. For business owners, their business means a lot to them…it’s their hard work, their dedication, their income, and their future. Business insurance is about protecting all this.
