Protecting Bicycles on the Road - AB 1909 protects bicyclists by requiring vehicles passing them to move over one lane if possible or slow down and only pass when safe to do so.
Less Jaywalking Violations - AB 2147 prevents police from stopping a pedestrian for jaywalking unless there is an “immediate” danger of a crash.
Reducing Catalytic Converter Thefts - Two new laws (SB 1087 & AB 1740) make it tougher for thieves to sell catalytic converters to recyclers by applying more rules and keeping more detailed records.
