HIKING: NATURE, EXERCISE & GOSSIP!

Every Sunday morning, I try to hit the trails for a 1-2 hour hike. It's truly the perfect activity! You get fantastic exercise, and if you bring a friend, it's a great opportunity to catch up and even share some good gossip.
But for me, the best part is connecting with nature. Studies show that spending time outdoors can lower stress, reduce blood pressure, and even boost your immune system.
On a more personal level, with some of the things that have happened in my life lately, I find this little break in nature to be a great time to reflect and get away from the world.
The great news for those in Los Angeles is that trails are everywhere! I use the Alltrails to discover new paths nearby. And if the word "hiking" sounds intimidating, don't worry – there are trails for every fitness level. You can find easy, relatively flat walks or more challenging climbs if you're looking for an intense workout.
